CRUISING THROUGH LIFE, ONE PORT AT A TIME - VISIT DIFFERENT CITIES AND EXPERIENCE INCREDIBLE ACTIVITIES UNPACKING ONLY ONCE!
Who should consider a Cruise?
Cruises are a perfect vacation for anyone who wants the best of both words: included meals and activities, but also the opportunity to visit different places. And yes, you only need to unpack once - how cool is that?
Many cruise lines are very focused on families with kids of all ages. They offer activities, kids clubs, pools... some ships have even a waterpark inside! Maybe your family wanna surf on a wave pool, or slide through a transparent tube. Maybe you want to see the magician shows or have dinner with Disney characters. The possibilities are endless!! The family cruises range from basic ships that go 2-3 days to the Bahamas to luxury ones that can go to Alaska, Hawaii or even Europe on a transatlantic. What an experience! No matter your choice, the adventure on the high seas will be unforgettable and a topic of conversation for many and many dinners to come.
Most cruises lines also pay extra attention to the experience of couples and other adults. From Casinos to comedy shows, to lounges and dance bars, to great spas services, everyone will find something to do. Couples with kids can take advantage of the kids club if their children are old enough or hire a babysitter for a night - and you will be so close that you will be finally able to fully enjoy the night "out".
Couples without kids can make a cruise trip a very enjoyable one! If you want something more "adult" we can pick a cruise line that focuses on that and you will have a totally different experience.
Some cruise lines offer single staterooms so you don't have to pay an extra fee if you are planning to travel by yourself. Or pick an adult cruise and bring a friend! You will have so much fun with all the activities, shows, bars, lounges and ports!
What is actually included?
I like to say cruises are "very inclusive" instead of "all inclusive". The main restaurant is included, as well as most of the activities and concerts/shows. Beverages are not included*, tips are not included and any excursion that you decide to do at the ports. During your quote, we will show you how much it will be to add gratuity, insurance, and beverage packages - these are optional items and we can recommend one or the other depending on what you are looking for.
*Disney Cruise Line includes non-alcoholic beverage in the price!
Are they worth it?
Yes! Have you ever heard of a person who went on a cruise and came back saying it wasn't worth it? Ok, maybe they wouldn't cruise again because they just didn't like the style, but you get so many things for the price that yes, it's a very good investment. Especially because you have various options depending on your budget, destinations, what you wanna see and do, and how much time you have. It's one one those things you should do at least once in your lifetime :)
Which cruise line should you choose?
Oh, this is a difficult question! The one answer is: IT DEPENDS. The great thing about working with a travel agent (me!) is that you don't have to be guessing around which one you should do! Talk to me and I will be able to send you a little information on the ones you are interested and recommend something based on your profile. But long story short: Carnival is more budget-friendly, it got a bad reputation but the older ships are still fun and the new ones are cool with lots of upgrades. Royal Caribbean has newer ships and most of the ships tend to be more upscale, they are more "grand". Disney Cruise is amazing, can't say good things enough - it includes so many extra things on the price that you don't even complain about paying "more". Each cruise line is unique!
