There is a famous travel quote by Mary Anne Radmacher that says "I'm not the same, have seen the moon shine on the other side of the world". I love this quote because it really tells how much travel changes us.

And when the trip is to an exotic place, a different country that is usually not the top choice for the majority of tourists, that is even more true.

You see, going to places where the culture is so different from ours, really opens our eyes to the very big, incredible world we live in. The language, the costumes, the animals, the weather... it is so exciting to see how things look like when we leave home.

This brings me to another quote that I really like, from Roberto Bolaño: "Every hundred feet, the world changes". And you are left with this amazing sensation of being part of something special, aligned ​with the world energy that radiates in places you visit.
